These Terms govern your use of Dante, an app that turns a photo you provide into a stylised AI portrait. By creating an account or using Dante you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Dante. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

2. Credits

• Generating a portrait costs credits. The cost is shown before you confirm.
• Credits are deducted when a generation starts. If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side, the credits for that attempt are returned to your balance.
• Credits have no cash value, are not a stored-value or payment instrument, and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for money.
• Results are produced by an AI model and can be unpredictable. A result you dislike is not a technical failure and is not refundable.

3. Photos you upload

You must only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows another person, you confirm you have their permission to use their likeness in Dante. Do not upload photos of people who have not consented, images of minors in any sensitive context, or content you do not own the rights to.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Dante to:

• Create sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise unlawful imagery.
• Impersonate someone, create misleading depictions of real people, or produce content intended to deceive, defame or defraud.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass credit checks, rate limits or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund of unused credits where the breach is serious.

5. Your content and our content

You keep the rights to the photos you upload. You may use the portraits Dante generates for you for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You grant us the limited permission needed to process your photo and deliver, store and display your results inside your account.

The Dante name, logo, interface, style templates and prompt content are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. Template prompt text is confidential and is not licensed to you.

6. AI output disclaimer

Portraits are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies or unexpected artefacts. Similar inputs can produce different results, and identical results are not guaranteed. Dante is provided for creative use, not for identification, verification or any purpose that requires a faithful likeness.

7. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, style templates and credit pricing, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We aim to keep Dante available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

8. Termination

You may stop using Dante and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or that we are required to close by law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Dante is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use Dante after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
